‘PALETTE OF SENTIMENTS’
I painted you blue,
I painted you white,
I thought you would be like the ocean,
Delicate and passionate,
I painted you purple,
I painted you red,
I thought you would become like wine,
Alcoholic and sweet,
I painted you black,
I painted you white,
So I thought you would become like a man,
With strength and brain-
Now that I have painted you in all these colors, I get nothing,
Because that painting has turned into a mess.
‘BERRY BLISS’
His lips, a strawberry cuisine,
A hue of regal amethyst,
With a touch of rosy flush,
That exquisite line, a visual rush.
In that moment, so divinely fair,
When he graces me with a smile to share,
Curves accentuated, like a work of art,
My heart surrenders, right from the start.
Through that captivating sight,
I yearn to taste, with all my might,
For the sweetness of his lips, I pine,
Oh, how I long for that moment divine.
