Asha Ponnachan

Asha Ponnachan (she/her) is a writer, actor, dancer, and passionate admirer of all things artistic. She is the bestselling author of two internationally acclaimed poetry collections, The Moon at My Window and Lost in the Direction. Her latest work, a short story collection titled Airport Stories, has recently been published. Asha’s acting journey includes numerous theatre productions across Canadian stages and appearances in short films. She has also recently stepped into the world of direction, further expanding her creative repertoire. Her literary works have been published both in Canada and internationally.

Alongside her full-time role as an arts worker in Toronto, Asha dedicates her time to volunteer work focused on mental and emotional health awareness. In her own words, she “walks in faith, talks in satire, and dreams in flavours.” Guided by her belief that “there is always Hope,” she sees art as one of the most powerful sources of that hope.

Suchismita Ghoshal

Suchismita Ghoshal, a dynamic literary voice from West Bengal, India, has been making a significant mark in the contemporary literary scene at just 27 years old. A prolific and widely published author, she is an internationally recognized bilingual poet, spoken word performer, professional writer, editor, content creator, translator (Bengali-English), and literary critic. Her talents also extend to being a performing poet, communicator, and influential literary figure.

Her powerful words, driven by compassion and authenticity, have earned her numerous accolades and invitations to international festivals and open mic events. These recognitions continue to fuel her creativity and inspire others through her literary contributions. She has co-authored hundreds of books and been a part of international literary projects like HYPERPOEM alongside 1600+ other renowned authors from around the world.

Her works— Fields of Sonnet, Emotions & Tantrums, Poetries in Quarantine, Euphonious Echoes and Ombrophilous Feelings are available worldwide.
