Issue 10 of The Hemlock Journal is going to be huge, not because we are finally allowed to put double digits after every Issue, but also that now The Hemlock Journal has turned Three.

Three Years, Nine Issues, Two Anthologies and Two Writing Contests. We are honoured by the unwavering support from the community of writers and artists from across the world. Something that we never imagined when we started in January 2023. Issue 10 is going to huge because it celebrates the Journal’s success.

The Hemlock Journal is now accepting submissions for Issue 10 (Winter 2025). There is no theme for this issue — send us your most original, honest, and imaginative work. We welcome Fiction, Flash Fiction, Poetry, Essays, Memoirs, Creative Non Fiction, Visual Art, and Hybrid Forms that explore new ideas or emotions with depth and clarity.

Although our submission guidelines remain the same, we request you to review them before submitting your work.

We are accepting Submissions for Expedited Review (within 2 weeks) for $2 or Rs. 150 and Editor’s Commentary on your work for $3 or Rs. 200, or both for $4 or Rs. 250. Pay Using PayPal or RazorPay link (given in the form below). Attach the screenshot while Submitting the Form.
