
In late 2025, The Hemlock Journal in collaboration with Remington Review announced Fiction Writing Contest with the theme Call of the Wild.
During the submission period, from November, 2025 to January 2026, we received a remarkable number of submissions from around the world, each one unique and thought-provoking.
However, we had to select the best ones.
The following Longlist comprises of ‘25 Best Work of Fiction‘ each distinguished by not only literary merits but also by embracing the given theme : Call of the Wild.
