Divyank Jain

A writer and teacher from Udaipur India, Divyank J. pursued his Master’s in English Literature last year to hone his literary craft. He has written many short stories (of course not as many as a writer should). Recently one of his short stories ‘Out Of The Ring’ was printed and distributed by ‘16 Pages Press’ in Belgium. You can read his other stories in Novus Literary Journal, Yawp Journal, Arc Journal, Together Magazine, SORTES Magazine and several anthologies.

Julia

Julia dislikes three things the most; celery, ironing clothes and introducing herself. “I like to think and talk about feelings, that’s why I choose to be a writer,” she says. She writes love poems (majorly in Russian by the way,) and about the sea (she is ‘A Poet of Black Sea’). Apart from being a poet and a writer, she studied journalism at one of the major Universities in Russia and worked for a couple of newspapers.

Asha P. V.

A performance and literary artist, Asha started writing, acting and dancing while still in school. She champions the cause of arts in mental health. She is the author of 2 bestselling poetry books. Her works have appeared in multiple magazines and co-authored books. As an actor, she has played principal roles in many theatre productions and short films. Her vocational calling also includes a notable career in marketing and communications which she is currently executing in the not-for-profit and arts sector. Her motto is “there is always Hope” and art is the most promising generator of hope.

Shazia Parveen

Shazia Parveen is a writer, poet, and thinker. She is known by the pen name ‘Sana’. Born and brought up in Lucknow, she completed her post-graduation in Chemistry at the University of Lucknow. She works as a Senior Content Developer and Quality Analyst. She found her interest in writing during her graduation days and co-authored a Hindi anthology. Her debut book ‘Homecafe’ was published in 2019. She had also been a teacher. ‘Writing is a journey of learning each day’ is all that she believes.

Anjum Siddiqui

Anjum Siddiqui is an artist originally from India, but now works and lives in Toronto, Canada. After finishing her school from The Lawrence School, Sanawar, she went on to study at the Delhi College of Art, India, (Delhi University), and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Applied Arts. Anjum had the rare opportunity to work with and learn from the late M F Husain, who was dubbed the ‘Picasso of India’ by Time magazine. She was his only pupil. Trained in Indian classical music, Anjum plays the sitar; a rising theatre star on the Toronto scene, she is a theatre actor and recently acted in several short films; and a multilingual poet, she has performed her English and Urdu poetry at many recent private events.

Chandra Sekhar

Born in Andhra Pradesh, India, he has done his Master’s in Business Management. He deals with international marketing and loves reading books. His favourite genres include Mystery Thrillers, Psychological Thrillers, Horror and Crime Thrillers. He also enjoys Historical Fiction, Sci-fi, Dystopian and Short Stories. He uses Instagram to snap pics of the books he read and enjoyed along with his reviews.
