Aesop’s Fables have transcended cultural boundaries leading to various adaptations across the globe. I have observed that the stories have open ended platforms just waiting for them to be rewritten. This book is dear to me because these stories are reflection of my childhood days and how I developed the urge to read and explore books.

I had this temptation to rewrite a few of the Fables so widely loved by children and give it the form of a book. I have changed the ending of each fable giving them a smooth structure, simultaneously challenging the children to put their brains to work and thus impart moral education.
