Each piece is both illuminating and unsettling—with its evocative language, immersive world-building, and deeply grounded characters. The Issue features 21 artists. We received a great number of Artworks for the Special Fiction Issue, 'Call of the Wild'. It changed the way this issue was supposed to look. Initially we planned a b&w issue, with colourful covers. But the amazing artworks we received truly overwhelmed us. There are moments, as editors, when reading feels less like evaluation and more like discovery. This contest was one of those moments.
